Terms & conditions
Effective from 5 September 2026 · Bayiku v1
By installing and using Bayiku you agree to the seven points below. Written short and plainly, describing what the app actually does.
Licence to use
Bayiku is provided free of charge for personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable use. You may install it on as many devices as you own. What you may not do: resell it, rent it out, or take it apart and republish any part of it as another product.
Not medical advice
Bayiku records; it does not diagnose. Nothing in it is medical advice and none of it replaces an examination by a health professional. The anomaly detection inside the app only suggests seeing a health professional and never names a condition. Every decision about your baby’s health is made with a doctor or midwife, not from this app’s screen.
The data is yours
The entries you create are stored on your device and remain yours. You export them, share them, and delete them. We hold no copy, and so cannot restore them if they are lost. The details are in the privacy policy.
Your responsibility
The accuracy of the entries is on you — the app stores what you put in. Because the data lives on the device, back it up yourself from time to time by exchanging a file. Deleting the app deletes the entries with it, and so does losing the device.
No warranty
Bayiku is provided as is. There is no warranty that it is free of errors, always available, or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using or being unable to use this app, including loss of data.
Changes to these terms
This page can change when the app changes — for example when server syncing is added. Changes are dated at the top of this page, and the version that applies is always the one published here.
